Everything you need to know about keeping your canon consistent.

CanonGuard is a story integrity engine designed for writers, game masters, and worldbuilders. It helps you track characters, timelines, relationships, and story rules - then automatically detects contradictions before they break your narrative.

CanonGuard is built for anyone managing complex fictional worlds: novelists tracking multi-book sagas, anime creators managing power systems, TTRPG game masters running long campaigns, and screenwriters juggling ensemble casts with intricate backstories.

Canon Health runs automated diagnostics on your world, checking for orphan entities, timeline contradictions, relationship inconsistencies, and rule violations. It gives you a 0-100 integrity score and flags specific issues with actionable fixes.

The Oracle is your canon-aware AI assistant. Unlike generic chatbots, it reads your entire world data and answers questions like "When did Character X learn about Event Y?" with citations back to your established canon.

Narrative Scans analyze your written content (chapters, notes) against your canon database. They detect when your writing contradicts established facts - like a character appearing somewhere before they were introduced.

Yes! The Showcase feature lets you publish your world with a custom URL (canonguard.com/read/your-story). Readers can explore your characters, locations, and chapters. You control visibility: private, unlisted, or fully public.

Free Mode gives you 1 project with manual canon tracking. Creator Mode ($12/mo) adds AI features: 30 Oracle scans, 15 health checks, and wiki auto-summaries. Pro Mode ($24/mo) includes unlimited projects, 200 Oracle scans, deep context memory, and priority support.

Yes! You can start with a 7-day free trial of Creator Mode to experience all AI features. No credit card required to start - you'll only be charged if you decide to continue after the trial.

Absolutely. CanonGuard supports JSON export for your full project data, Markdown export for chapters, and print-optimized layouts. Your worlds are yours - no lock-in, ever.

Yes. Projects are private by default. Only you (and collaborators you invite) can see your work. When you choose to publish to Showcase, you control exactly what becomes public. We never train AI on your content without explicit permission.

We offer templates for: Anime/Manga, Novels, Games/RPGs, TV Series, Comics, Film, D&D/Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Superhero, Mystery, and Slice of Life. Each template comes with pre-configured entity types and diagnostic rules for that genre.
